ATTENTION: ALL STUD EARRINGS HAVE A UV RESIN BACK COATING. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE A SENSITIVITY OR ALLERGY TO UV RESIN!
Important Information & Care Instructions
Please handle your polymer clay earrings with care. Bending or dropping your earrings may result in your earrings cracking or breaking. Polymer clay is very sturdy - but this can still happen!
Avoid getting your earrings wet. While polymer clay itself is waterproof, this could cause the decorative brass pieces to tarnish.
If brass pieces do tarnish, however, you can clean the brass using a soft cloth with something acidic (like ketchup, lime juice, vinegar or Brasso) & it will be as good as new.
The best way to store your earrings is on an earring stand/jewelry rack.
If you need to clean your clay earrings, please wipe them gently with a soft cloth, or use a wet cloth with a gentle soap or baby wipe if necessary (avoiding the brass components).
Please do not use jewelry cleaner or any other chemicals on your clay earrings.
Prolonged wear of your clay earrings while wearing makeup could potentially stain them. Please try to clean your earrings right away if you notice any makeup on them. Baby wipes work great for cleaning off makeup!
Please note: each pair of my earrings are completely made by hand from start to finish and can result in variations of color & may differ slightly from the photo - especially if the earrings you are purchasing are marbled or have a pattern (take joy in the fact that each pair is one-of-a-kind!).
I use allergy friendly/hypoallergenic metals for my findings (rings, hooks, posts). Almost all metals on my earrings are made with surgical grade stainless steel OR high quality gold plated stainless steel!
Although rare, interactions with these metals can still happen. Hypoallergenic means there is minimal risk of it causing a reaction.
If you follow proper care instructions, your polymer clay earrings will last a very long time ♡
